Yet another GM contamination, this time on a property that is not organic, but conventional, and in a declared GM free zone. Read more in Janet’s report below:
On Tuesday 9th August a truck carrying GM canola caught fire and spilled over 15 tonnes of the seed on the Albany Highway near Williams. While this in itself was a disaster the fact that it was spilt in a declared GM Free zone is worse. Twelve local farmers had formed a group which achieved a trade agreement with Japanese buyers to supply them with GM free canola.
The group had previously asked Terry Redman to recognise their GM free position, but he refused as he said that it would be too costly, and then added that if he let them do it everyone else would want to! The group also applied to be registered on the ‘sensitive sites’ map, as they deemed their produce as worthy of being protected, but again they were refused this recognition.
Now their worst nightmare has happened, and this in only the first year of GM canola commercialisation. Should they lose their buyers due to the incident their only source of redress would be ‘Common Law’ as Steve Marsh has had to use. And Redman’s response? According to a letter sent from his department to the Countryman they have already called any legal action that the group may take as ‘a publicity stunt’! So what does this tell us? One may think that this government is backing GM crops at anyone’s expense, and defying them to complain about it!
I have a feeling that this may well be just the tip of this GM iceberg!
The OGAWA Annual General Meeting is on Saturday 15th October, 9am at City Farm, East Perth and runs for an hour.

Have you ever asked yourself: What is the difference between organic and non-organic honey? Milk? Meat? Clothing?
The answers all lie within the newly launched free, downloadable consumer guide to the Australian Certified Organic Standard. The Standard is the most widely used in Australia encompassing the rules which apply to organic operators using the recognisable Australian Certified Organic logo, among others.
For the first time in Australia there is an easy reference guide to the Standards – a welcome alternative to the full version (a technically worded document spanning 125 pages).
The guide is preceded by a fabulous brief including “all those questions about organics you wanted to know but were afraid to ask….” and concludes with 20 good reasons to buy organic all backed by the latest peer reviewed research.
Mark Riley, the Seven Network, to [Greens] Senator Brown: “You must know you played into the sweet spot of all conspiracy theorists today with your support for a Global Parliament. I’m wondering how you would see such an organisation operating: are you talking about an international treaty organisation that might sign up to collective commitments on certain issues, or something that might legislate and then come into conflict with national parliaments?
And a little bit of a self-interest [question], if it’s going to be in Australia, can it be at Jarvis Bay? Because that’s where Canberra should’ve been, surely.”
Senator Bob Brown: “Yeah, but Jarvis Bay is so beautiful I’d like to keep that National Park right like it is, and nuclear power station-free might I had.
I was doing my Windsor knot (starts fiddling with tie) before I came here thinking of the House of Windsor, and of course they always get wound into these conspiracies, don’t they. No, uh, look, uh, we are moving towards a globally informed community that’s got to live with itself, and we have always espoused democracy. I can tell you that the two moves the Greens have made for a Global democratic umm… support for moves in the United Nations, have been voted down by all other parties, both in 2002 and earlier this year – this is conceptual.
But I’m talking here about vision. Why should Australia not be the center of what is inevitably going to be a Global Parliamentary… uh… Governance, down the line. If we human beings are going to live with each other on this marvelous planet of ours, as we go on the joyride of the future, of course we’re going to have to make consensus decisions. And representative democracy – as Winston Churchill noted – is full of flaws, but it’s the best we have. The point I was making, if we can invade Iraq and perhaps Afghanistan in the name of democracy, surely we can peacefully get behind moves to have a Global Governance on such things as financial transactions, which with a Tobin Tax could put an end to poverty, really, uhh it’s a great prospect.
It’s not going to happen in my lifetime, but I’m very happy to help build up the concept.”
Radio host Alex Jones is calling on all activists worldwide to descend on the site of the 2011 Bilderberg conference in St. Moritz, Switzerland and stage a massive protest against the criminal global elite that have wrecked the global economy, plunged the United States into another unaffordable war in Libya and are now scheming to start yet another war and hike oil prices to levels where Americans will be paying $7 dollars a gallon for gas.
We are urging all demonstrators to make their way to the Suvretta Hotel in St. Moritz this Saturday to force upon Bilderbergers what they fear the most – the spotlight.
—
As the 2011 Bilderberg meeting kicks off in St. Moritz Switzerland, syndicated radio host Alex Jones has called for activists the world over to descend on the luxury Suvretta House hotel this Saturday at 12 noon local time to protest the secretive global confab.
As the Bilderberg group operates behind closed doors and under Chatham House rules, it attracts very little mainstream media attention, despite the fact that hundreds of the worlds most important CEOs, banking elites, politicians and influential media figures annually attend to discuss policy.
Jones is particularly calling on Swiss nationals to bolster the numbers by joining the small gathering of alternative media journalists and activists that are already on site. Here is a map of the St Moritz area with the Suvretta House hotel pinpointed (View)
This song title is a reference to a concept created by a think-tank called The Club of Rome. In One Hundred Pages for the Future, Italian scholar & industrialist, and co-Founder of the Globalist “think-tank” The Club of Rome, Aurelio Peccei, wrote:
“Along with the concept of the limits to growth, The Club of Rome had proposed that of the world problematique. For there exists in the world a dreadful mixture of problems, whose roots and ramifications we have not managed to grasp, and from which humanity cannot escape.”
Consider the lyric from the song, “Why can’t we see, that when we bleed we bleed the same?” when reading this exert from Peccei’s book:
“We do not yet possess a sufficiently clear understanding of how all these elements are linked to be able to attack the problematique as a whole. For this reason, each problem is dealt with more or less in isolation, within its own terms, even though these may be only symptoms that we treat to no avail. Consequently, the problematique merely becomes more complicated and the general situation deteriorates still further, giving rise to that endemic state of disorder, insecurity, and crisis which The Club of Rome has called the predicament of humankind.”
In addition to this, the opening lyric, “Fear and panic in the air,” while setting the tone for the “Problematique,” may also be a reference to Mars, in that the red planet’s two moons are named Phobos and Deimos, who were the Greek gods of Fear and Panic. Such a connection would fit in with numerous references to Mars in the album, including the album cover. The song is also as the trailer for the 2006 apocalyptic film Children of Men.
“World Problematique is a concept created by the Club of Rome to describe the set of the crucial problems – political, social, economic, technological, environmental, psychological and cultural – facing humanity. The complexity of the world problematique lies in the high level of mutual interdependence of all these problems on the one hand, and in the long time it often takes until the impact of action and reaction in this complex system becomes visible.”
The Club of Rome based the 1972 book Limits to Growth, on solving the “World Problematique”:
Quoted is from The Limits to Growth: The 30-year update
“Commissioned by a think-tank called The Club of Rome, an international group of businessmen, statesmen, and scientists, The Limits to Growth was compiled by a team of experts from the U.S. and several foreign countries. Using system dynamics theory and a computer model called “World3,” the book presented and analysed 12 scenarios that showed different possible patterns – and environmental causes – of World development over two centuries, 1900 to 2100.”
The Limits to Growth report sold more than 12 million copies in some 30 languages worldwide.
An Australian Link
In 2008, Graham Turner at the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) in Australia published a paper called “A Comparison of `The Limits to Growth` with Thirty Years of Reality”. It examined the past thirty years of reality with the predictions made in 1972 and found that changes in industrial production, food production and pollution are all in line with the book’s predictions of economic and societal collapse in the 21st century.
“I consider the Club of Rome first of all an exciting adventure of the spirit – the exploration and discovery of man’s condition in this age of his global empire…”
- Aurelio Peccei, co-Founder of the Club of Rome and an Italian scholar & industrialist
“The common enemy of humanity is man. In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill. All these dangers are caused by human intervention, and it is only through changed attitudes and behavior that they can be overcome. The real enemy then, is humanity itself.”
- Alexander King, co-Founder of the Club of Rome and Scottish scientist, as quoted in his 1991 book, The First Global Revolution
“The threat of environmental crisis will be the ‘international disaster key’ that will unlock the New World Order.”
- Mikhail Gorbachev, Club of Rome Honorary member, former President of the Soviet Union, as quoted in “A Special Report: The Wildlands Project Unleashes Its War On Mankind”, 1996, p. 5.
“We need to get some broad based support, to capture the public’s imagination… So we have to offer up scary scenarios, make simplified, dramatic statements and make little mention of any doubts… Each of us has to decide what the right balance is between being effective and being honest.”
- Prof. Stephen Schneider, who was a lead author of many IPCC reports and member of the Club of Rome before his recent death.
Other well-known members of the Club of Rome:
Al Gore, David Rockefeller, Bill Gates, Ted Turner, George Soros, Maurice Strong, Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands, Prince Philippe of Belgium, Dona Sophia (Queen of Spain)
Current World politicians include the PM of Spain and PM of India, and former World politicians who are members include Tony Blair, Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter, and Henry Kissinger.
“tt30 is composed of independent men and women around the age of 30 (therefore ‘tt30’) who are concerned about the problems of today and committed to work towards the solution of these challenges. tt30, from the perspective of a new generation, works out an agenda of topics that we regard as central for the future development of the world (what we title the Web of the Problematique) and indicates possible ways how to meet those challenges of tomorrow.”
From a message to the Second tt30 Annual Conference from HRH Prince El Hassan , President of the Club of Rome, on the 11th of September 2002:
“The map of the problematique as charted in Hamburg last year will therefore be regularly reviewed and updated. This map needs to be shared with others – perhaps posted on the tt30 website.”
Alternative rock megaband Muse have urged their millions of listeners to take the “red pill” and reject the babylon system of mindless popular culture and meaningless music – by inviting people to visit Alex Jones’ Prison Planet.com and Infowars.com via links on the band’s official website.
Muse’s links page features their own Facebook and MySpace pages as well as some fan sites, but a special section contains just four links, two of which lead to Prison Planet and Infowars.
Why does any of this matter? Because even before the release of their latest blockbuster The Resistance, Muse had sold 10 million albums worldwide and won countless awards, including five MTV Europe Music Awards, five Q Awards, eight NME Awards, two BRIT awards and four Kerrang! Awards. Muse’s The Resistance album is the culmination of their increasingly public vocal opposition to the new world order agenda, and has topped the album charts in no less than 19 countries worldwide.
The fact that one of the most popular bands on the planet right now is using its gargantuan public platform to encourage its listeners to educate themselves about the agenda for world government shows how deeply woven into the fabric of society the real resistance is becoming.
As we have previously documented, music and popular culture is the most powerful weapon the elite wield in keeping the masses distracted, dumbed down and morally bankrupt. Amoral, vacuous and nihilistic drivel from the likes of Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Christina Aguilera, Rihanna and Katy Perry keeps young women obsessed with meaningless drivel while thinking that it’s mandatory to dress and act like a whore to be accepted by their peers, while the endless parade of moronic hip-hop artists, people like Puff Daddy, Kanye West, Jay-Z, 50-cent and Lil Wayne brainwash young men into thinking that acting like a superficial, moronic, money-obsessed, sex-obsessed thug who wears their pants round their knees and treats women like pieces of meat is cool.
That’s why it’s so refreshing to see a truly talented band like Muse singing about important and cutting edge issues and being successful in the process, reaching millions of young people who might otherwise have been trapped in the babylon system of popular culture that is warping young people’s minds and turning them into depressed, disenchanted, powerless, and soulless creatures whose manipulated mindlessness prevents them from even being able to think straight amidst the ceaseless din of the psychological attack they are under from music and popular culture in general.
The new world order attack on our society is about more than politics, money, and power – it’s about stealing the minds of our own children and filling them with self-destructive, humanist, post-modernist, spiritually devoid crap that destroys their innocence, their hope, their strength of character and their moral compass.
Featured below is Muse’s video for Uprising, which has received over 16.5 million views on You Tube. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out the message behind the song.
Matt Bellamy speaking to Kerrang! Magazine, late 2006:
“9/11 is clearly an inside job, there’s massive evidence that suggests that it was allowed to happen, or even worse, deliberately made to happen…”
“… False flag operations have been going on time and time again in our history: there was a document called ‘Project for the New American Century’, which was made by neo-Con (right wing) writers in the ’90s who supplied most of the agenda that Bush is putting into place now, which says clearly, ‘We need a Pearl-Harbor-level event so we have an excuse to invade the Middle East’…”
“Everything that we’re living through is as a result of what happened on 9/11, so it’s fundamental to our history to make sure we know what happened.”
Bellamy made these comments on the back of mainstream media attention he received in the UK and around the World by wearing a t-shirt with the word TERROR STORM written on the back of it at the Reading Festival of 2006: http://prisonplanet.com/articles/august2006/270806rockfrontman.htm
“Go to Google Video, type in Terror Storm and you’ll find a nice little surprise. It will shed some light on world affairs, put it that way. I rather point you in the direction then preach about it myself,” said Bellamy. From:http://www.nme.com/news/muse/24109
A new website [1] has been launched in Devon, UK allowing members of the public to monitor CCTV camera footage from around Britain [2], forcing people to decide whether the Orwellian measure to prevent crime is correct, or another pointless excuse to cull more civil liberties. Internet Eyes [1] employs people from around the UK as well as Australians [3] and Europeans to spy on other members of the public from their own homes in a supposed effort to prevent criminal acts. This month they launched their business sparking mixed reaction around the world. [4]
The Internet Eyes system works by a viewer watching four screens at once and pressing a “REPORT” button [6] The alert triggers an SMS to the shop assistant or owner who makes a decision about what action to take. The viewer then receives a reward.
The 4-screen CCTV camera footage the Internet Eyes viewer watches
If this is a legitimate business, where does that leave the general public? On the company’s Facebook page, there seems to be very strong feelings coming from both sides. [7] Some feel it is an invasion of privacy, allowing strangers to watch them go about their business. Others have said it is a good idea and will create jobs and prevent crime.
Internet Eyes had previously mentioned that its viewers are paid £1000 (approx. $1700 AUD) to watch the footage coming from cameras already mounted on streets and in stores. Managing director Tony Morgan claims, “The whole point of this is that it is a deterrent. People watch Crimewatch and that’s not entertainment. We just want it to help people out.” [2]
However, on the SpyBlog website [8] they report, “Contrary to most of the media and blog headlines about this scheme, which falsely report that the public is somehow going to be paid to watch these CCTV feeds, it turns out that Internet Eyes are not actually planning to pay people to snoop at all. Instead they are only offering them the vague hope of winning a monthly prize.” [4] It goes on further to discuss the amount of details one needs to part with in order to sign up to be a viewer and also mentions the lack of security on the site to ensure personal details will not be stolen.
No CCTV [9] and Privacy International [10] have also stepped up to say that Internet Eyes is a money making scheme. No CCTV’s Charles Farrier has said it is a profit making scam and he feared that people would exploit the opportunity to watch others, saving the footage to upload it to file sharing websites. He says, “There are not enough checks and balances in place. We will be looking for instances where they may potentially breach the data protection act.” and went on to add that, “This is encouraging a growing trend of citizen spies. If people are so concerned about crime, they should contact the police. They are hiding behind computer screens and willing crime to happen so they get a prize. It is a game.” [2]
Internet Eyes, and its concept to have members of the UK public spying on each other – whether a legitimate business or a scam – preys on one’s desire to be a hero and make a positive difference while acclimating them to sell out society’s civil liberties and their own privacy. In this period of time, where citizens are clinging to a dwindling amount rights in the face of a growing amount of convienent excuses being used by authorities to highten security by filming, searching and fingerprinting citizens at every turn, we must take a stand against and become aware of this descent into a 1984-like reality. Black-clad demonstrators broke off from a crowd of peaceful protesters at the World Summit, torching a police cruiser in the financial district and smashing windows with baseball bats and hammers.
Police with shields and clubs earlier pushed back another small group of demonstrators who tried to head south toward the security fence surrounding the perimeter of the Group of Twenty global economic summit site. Some demonstrators hurled bottles at police.
…
Ontario’s provincial government quietly passed a regulation earlier this month allowing police to arrest anyone who refuses to show identification or submit to searches if they come within five metres of the security fence.
Toronto’s downtown core resembles a fortress, with a big steel and concrete fence erected along several blocks to protect the summit site.
WeAreChange Western Australia denounces the violence towards Toronto police and the vanadalism of property in the surrounding area near the G20 summit, by individuals clearly separate from the assembled peaceful protestors. This is not the Change we wish to see. Neither is the extremely expensive police state setup for the events for that matter.
The Chinese Government is buying Australian farms to directly feed its population, a senior Liberal said on the eve of a visit by a top Bejing official.
The purchases were unmonitored and did not have to be approved by the Foreign Investment Review Board, Senator Bill Heffernan told Parliament.
“And the distortion that has occurred in the Sydney home market because of being off the FIRB’s radar … could happen with agricultural land,” Senator Heffernan said.
He made the claim on Wednesday night, just three days before the arrival in Canberra of Chinese Vice-President Xi Jinping for what is considered an important visit.
Senator Heffernan, chairman of the select committee on agriculture, yesterday said farm buy-ups were not referred to the FIRB unless they were worth more than $320 million.
So far there were only anecdotal reports of Chinese agricultural investment but Senator Heffernan quoted research by Professor Zhangyue Zhou of the School of Business at Townsville’s James Cook University.
Mr Zhou has argued there is a move by the Chinese Government to buy land overseas to ensure a secure food supply for the future. He believes the produce would be sent back to China from farms now being purchased.
There are reports of significant Chinese interest in Tasmanian dairy farms and a Tasmanian real estate agent, Betty Kay, this month was at a dairy expo in China to promote sales by cash-troubled farmers.
Last month South Australian state MP Robert Brokenshire called for Government action “as Chinese vultures circle Australian farms”.
“Chinese investment interest in our farms grew 10-fold in the six months to April, according to the Real Estate Institute of Australia,” he said.
There is also anecdotal evidence about farms in the black soil-rich Liverpool Plains being bought by foreign interests at inflated prices.
However, a spokeswoman for the REIA yesterday said there were no figures available.
Senator Heffernan told Parliament there was a system of voluntary reporting of land investments backed by foreign governments.
“It should not be self-reporting; it should be compulsory reporting. A foreign entity could go down the river and buy every property and not trigger the interest of the Foreign Investment Review Board,” he said.
WeAreChange Western Australia endorses Senator Heffernan’s call for compulsory reporting of foreign owned land investments in Australia and applauds him bringing light to this issue. WACWA urges all Australians to read in full Senator Heffernan’s comments to the Senate on the 16th of June, 2010 on the Senate Hansard record: DOWNLOAD PDF.
