Building 7 took a back seat for the most part of September 11 2001, a smouldering structure in the background of a handful of television broadcasts documenting the unfolding chaos and loss of life. It fell suddenly, almost seven hours after the two towers, easily descending into dust and leaving behind a whole set of new questions because it was not attacked or hit by a plane.

The structure was originally built in 1980s in the World Trade Complex, Manhattan New York. Forty seven storeys high, it housed branches for agencies such as the IRS (floors 24,25), the US Secret Service (9, 10), CIA, the Security Exchange Commission (11, 12, 13), the mayor’s Office of Emergency Management (23) and various loan and banking firms. Despite the importance of the building’s contents, it was not mentioned in over 500 pages that make up the official 9/11 Commission Report and many people do not know it also fell the day New York was attacked.

The abnormalities surrounding the collapse of Building 7 began with a now infamous BBC newscast in which a reporter, Jane Standley – on site in New York – seemed to make a huge mistake with her facts. She claimed Building 7 had fallen twenty minutes before the fact, while it could still be seen standing behind her in the background. Her live cross to the studio went for some time but at 5:15pm, exactly five minutes before Building 7 would have fallen behind her on film, the satellite feed was abruptly lost. The BBC later stated that the newscast was scheduled to cut the feed at a specific time regardless of wrapping the interview and that killing the feed was not some sort of a cover-up to hide a degree of foreknowledge. However, the strangeness of the interview, which can be seen on Youtube, prompted people to pay more attention to the third tower that fell.

Building 7 was said to have suffered catastrophic damage when debris from the falling north tower landed on it. Though later proved false by photos and footage showing that only two out of the forty seven floors in Building 7 were visibly on fire, The National Institute of Standard and Technology (NIST) lead investigator Shyam Sunder said, “Heating of floor beams and girders caused a critical support column to fail,” concurring with the final NIST report completed in 2008 which stated the building collapsed due to intense heat.

A&E 911Truth, a group of over 1550 Architects and Engineers who campaign for another investigation into Building 7′s collapse, say, “NIST likes to point out how many scientists and engineers worked on its WTC investigation, and how much time was spent. But the number of participants and the time and money spent does not guarantee a thorough investigation.” The articles and videos on the A&E 911Truth site reflect the opinion that Building 7 was brought down via controlled demolition as footage shows it collapsing at freefall speed, in 6.6 seconds – something they say is physically impossible unless a structure is imploded or rigged with explosives.

A number of videos and analysis completed by A&E 911Truth show what they say are demolition charges or squibs going off split seconds before the building comes down and go on to call NIST ‘wilfully ignorant’ because traces of Nanothermite, an explosive frequently used in the demolition industry, were found in the rubble but were not mentioned in NIST’s final report.

NIST’s official explanation of how the building came down also comes under fire from A&E 911Truth due to a penthouse on the roof which is seen in the collapse footage to cave inwards through the building, suggesting not one main column but two or more supporting columns under it were taken out or cut simultaneously as the rest of the building still retained its integrity while the penthouse disappeared downwards through it.

Zembla, a Dutch news program, made headlines internationally after featuring a video of control demolition expert, Danny Jowenko watching footage of Building 7′s collapse. During the viewing he stated,“This is a controlled demolition carried out by a team of experts,” a controversial opinion because he was unaware he was watching footage from 9/11 at the time and was only told the significance of his conclusion afterwards. He re-iterated his opinion publicly again in 2007 when rumours surfaced claiming he had retracted his statement and continued to stand by his opinion until he was killed in a car accident this year.

Larry Silverstein, the developer and owner of most of the buildings in the World Trade Centre complex remains at the heart of the mystery to this day because he famously fought for and collected a large sum of insurance money when his buildings fell due to an ‘unforeseen cause’ on 9/11. The clause in his contract saw him reimbursed 4.55 billion dollars. Various campaigners for a new investigation into Building 7 point to his appearance in the PBS documentary, “America Rebuilds,” as something to take notice of, a spoke in the works of the official version concerning Building 7’s fate.

Originally broadcast in 2002, the documentary features an interview in which Silverstein tells an interviewer about a conversation he’d had regarding Building 7, “I remember getting a call from the fire department commander, telling me that they were not sure they were going to be able to contain the fire, and I said, ‘We’ve had such terrible loss of life, maybe the smartest thing to do is pull it. And they made that decision to pull and we watched the building collapse.”

Speculation over what he meant by this came from all directions after the revelation. Some people researched the term ‘pull it’ and discovered it was commonly used in destruction/demolition industries, jargon when referring to demolishing a building. Interviews with employees of the industry in the same documentary seemed to support the statement. Other people claimed Larry Silverstein merely muddled his words under pressure, later confirmed four years later in January 2006, by spokesperson, Dara McQuillan, who told the U.S. State Department that the “pull it” comment meant to “pull” fire fighters from the building. Unfortunately, despite the explanation, campaigners were not happy as FEMA, the New York Times and even Popular Mechanics had already reported that no firefighting took place within Building 7 – it was evacuated at 9am, already common knowledge in relevant circles at the time the statement was made.

Witnesses, including emergency personnel at the scene on September 11th 2001, reported hearing explosions go off seconds before Building 7 fell and several have gone on record to give their accounts. NYPD officer Craig Bartmer told Dylan Avery, director of Loose Change, “I was real close to Building 7 when it fell down. That didn’t sound like just a building falling down to me while I was running away from it. There’s a lot of eyewitness testimony down there of hearing explosions. I didn’t see any reason for that building to fall down the way it did.” He then continued to express his confusion and frustration over the official story by telling Avery he did not believe the official story, and gave the mayor’s Office of Emergency Management as one of the main reasons he found it hard to believe what he’d been told, “That was a hardened bunker built to withstand just about anything that New York would face.”

Ten years after it fell, Building 7 is breaking it’s way into mainstream music with Lupe Fiasco’s song “Words I never said, ” a song in which the American rapper, who has worked with Lil Wayne and has a song on Twilight’s New Moon soundtrack on itunes raps the line, “Nine eleven, Building Seven, did they really pull it?” continuing in the vein of Muse’s frontman Matt Bellamy who has gone on record to ask people to question the official stories surrounding 9/11 and the reasons there is a war in Iraq. This exposure, along with adverts launched by A&E 911 Truth featuring families of 9/11 victims, airforce pilots and engineers asking for another investigation are slowly gaining the attention of the general public around the world.

We Are Change, an international activist organisation, is also campaigning for a new investigation into Building 7’s collapse. Co-founder of the West Australian chapter, Andrew Middleton related his past experiences while educating the local public on Building 7; “Two years ago, the ABC broadcast a documentary called “The Third Tower,” produced by the BBC. It was screened in the leadup to the 2009 9/11 anniversary. The documentary gave a fair chance for both believers and skeptics of the official story of Building 7’s collapse to put their argument across. Members of the public that I spoke to during the 2009 9/11 anniversary were more open to discussing the event in a different light after that.” He also described 2011’s “9/11 Truth Action” as taking place in King’s Park, Perth where he and other members of We Are Change WA have planned to provide information and free DVDs for members of the public who are interested in the mystery of Building 7.

9/11 is a day that no one will forget. It was the catalyst for increased national security worldwide and the War on Terror. In the years since 2001, Ground Zero first responders have died of cancer due to toxic dust from the trade centres, soldiers from Australia have given their lives and many civil liberties have been voluntarily given up in the favour of safety. Should there still be inconsistencies in the reasons for these circumstances? Groups seeking a new investigation into Building 7’s collapse, have made an important point through their claims; there should be no abnormalities or questions remaining when the events of that fateful day have been pretext for a war and changes in laws and policies that affect millions of lives. Through songs, media exposure and various campaigns, Building 7 is sure to keep people asking questions until the mystery is solved satisfactorily.

Yet another GM contamination, this time on a property that is not organic, but conventional, and in a declared GM free zone. Read more in Janet’s report below:

On Tuesday 9th August a truck carrying GM canola caught fire and spilled over 15 tonnes of the seed on the Albany Highway near Williams. While this in itself was a disaster the fact that it was spilt in a declared GM Free zone is worse. Twelve local farmers had formed a group which achieved a trade agreement with Japanese buyers to supply them with GM free canola.

The group had previously asked Terry Redman to recognise their GM free position, but he refused as he said that it would be too costly, and then added that if he let them do it everyone else would want to! The group also applied to be registered on the ‘sensitive sites’ map, as they deemed their produce as worthy of being protected, but again they were refused this recognition.

Now their worst nightmare has happened, and this in only the first year of GM canola commercialisation. Should they lose their buyers due to the incident their only source of redress would be ‘Common Law’ as Steve Marsh has had to use. And Redman’s response? According to a letter sent from his department to the Countryman they have already called any legal action that the group may take as ‘a publicity stunt’!
So what does this tell us? One may think that this government is backing GM crops at anyone’s expense, and defying them to complain about it!

I have a feeling that this may well be just the tip of this GM iceberg!

At approximately 7:15pm on the 11th of August 2011, WeAreChange Western Australia confronted Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard at Perth Town Hall about her Fabian Socialist agenda and previously admitted Fabian Society membership. This is in light of her carbon tax agenda announced this year after a direct promise to not bring one in “under a Government she leads.”

Gillard was also told she will “never get your new world order,” after stating in a recent message:

“Not since the founding of the United Nations have we faced such uncertain times, when the contours of a new world order are emerging but not yet apparent.”

High-rise architect Robert McCoy is one of 1,500 Architects & Engineers demanding a new investigation

One of the experts featured in the documentary film is Robert McCoy, high-rise architect, who has been licensed in California since 1964 and has worked on the design of many large steel-framed high-rise buildings. He corresponded directly with the designers of the WTC complex during its construction to ensure that his high-rise projects were up to date. Like those of many experts, McCoy’s suspicions about the real nature of 9/11 started almost immediately following the horrific events of that day. He is “not interested in conspiracy theories… [he] just wants to know how those buildings came down”.

I’m wondering how you would see such an organisation operating: are you talking about an international treaty organisation that might sign up to collective commitments on certain issues, or something that might legislate and then come into conflict with national parliaments?

And a little bit of a self-interest [question], if it’s going to be in Australia, can it be at Jarvis Bay? Because that’s where Canberra should’ve been, surely.”

Senator Bob Brown: “Yeah, but Jarvis Bay is so beautiful I’d like to keep that National Park right like it is, and nuclear power station-free might I had.

I was doing my Windsor knot (starts fiddling with tie) before I came here thinking of the House of Windsor, and of course they always get wound into these conspiracies, don’t they. No, uh, look, uh, we are moving towards a globally informed community that’s got to live with itself, and we have always espoused democracy. I can tell you that the two moves the Greens have made for a Global democratic umm… support for moves in the United Nations, have been voted down by all other parties, both in 2002 and earlier this year – this is conceptual.

But I’m talking here about vision. Why should Australia not be the center of what is inevitably going to be a Global Parliamentary… uh… Governance, down the line. If we human beings are going to live with each other on this marvelous planet of ours, as we go on the joyride of the future, of course we’re going to have to make consensus decisions. And representative democracy – as Winston Churchill noted – is full of flaws, but it’s the best we have. The point I was making, if we can invade Iraq and perhaps Afghanistan in the name of democracy, surely we can peacefully get behind moves to have a Global Governance on such things as financial transactions, which with a Tobin Tax could put an end to poverty, really, uhh it’s a great prospect.

It’s not going to happen in my lifetime, but I’m very happy to help build up the concept.”

The prolonged ingestion of fluoride may cause significant damage to health and particularly to the nervous system,” concludes a review of studies by researchers Valdez-Jimenez, et al. published in Neurologia (June 2011). Despite this over 95% of WA’s water is fluoridated, and the communities of Carnarvon, Yanchep and Two Rocks are currently being threatened with the unethical practice.

“The prolonged ingestion of fluoride may cause significant damage to health and particularly to the nervous system,” concludes a review of studies by researchers Valdez-Jimenez, et al. published in Neurologia (June 2011), reports Perth Fluoride Free.

The research team reports, “It is important to be aware of this serious problem and avoid the use of toothpaste and items that contain fluoride, particularly in children as they are more susceptible to the toxic effects of fluoride.” (1)

“Fluoride can be toxic by ingesting one part per million (ppm), and the effects are not immediate, as they can take 20 years or more to become evident,” they write.

Most of Western Australia’s drinking water has fluoride chemicals added to deliver around 1 ppm fluoride intending to benefit teeth, not to purify the water.

“Fluoridation clearly jeopardizes our children and must be stopped,” says James Fairbairn, founder of Perth Fluoride Free. “We can actually see how fluoride has damaged children’s teeth with dental fluorosis; but we can’t see the harm it’s doing to their brains and other organs. No Australian researcher is even looking,” says Fairbairn.

Valdez-Jimenez, et al. describe studies that show fluoride induces changes in the brain’s physical structure and biochemistry which affects the neurological and mental development of individuals including cognitive processes, such as learning and memory.

“Fluoride is capable of crossing the blood-brain barrier, which may cause biochemical and functional changes in the nervous system during pregnancy, since the fluoride accumulates in brain tissue before birth,” they write.*

Animal studies show fluoride’s toxic brain effects include classic brain abnormalities found in patients with Alzheimer’s disease, Valdez-Jimenez’s team reports.

A different research team (Tang et al.) reported in 2008 that “A qualitative review of the studies found a consistent and strong association between the exposure to fluoride and low IQ.” (Biological Trace Element Research) (2)

In 2006, the U.S. National Research Council’s (NRC) expert fluoride panel reviewed fluoride toxicology and concluded, “It’s apparent that fluorides have the ability to interfere with the functions of the brain.” And, “Fluorides also increase the production of free radicals in the brain through several different biological pathways. These changes have a bearing on the possibility that fluorides act to increase the risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease.” (3)

On April 12, 2010, Time magazine listed fluoride as one of the “Top Ten Common Household Toxins” and described fluoride as both “neurotoxic and potentially tumorigenic if swallowed.” (4)

Most countries do not fluoridate their water, with the USA, Canada, Ireland and Australia being amongst the most heavily fluoridated. Even in these countries however many communities have stopped or rejected fluoridation in the past several years – the most recently Calgary in Canada and Fairbanks in Alaska.

Despite this The Fluoridation Of Public Water Committee of WA is currently considering fluoridating the drinking water of Carnarvon, Yanchep and Two Rocks, which are amongst the few fluoride free communities remaining in the state. In early May this year Perth Fluoride Free delivered a submission containing over 35 peer reviewed papers to the Committee. They have yet to have a reply.

Lying is nothing new for most politicians, we know. But this is a pretty big one. Twice, Labor’s previously proposed Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme was defeated.  The Liberal Party had a change of leadership over this issue. And now, a carbon (dioxide) tax is proposed.

2010 was a big year for music in Perth with massive international acts coming to our small city to play to thousands of fans. One of the highlights was definitely Muse. Promoting their album, The Resistance the trio performed at Steel Blue Oval, Bassendean on the 19th of December as part of their Australian tour.

The Resistance is an album about liberty and refusing to be controlled by the powers that be. MUSE have, and continue to make open statements on how the world is being run. Frontman, Matt Bellamy has even voiced his opinion on the September 11th attacks in New York.

“September 11 is clearly an inside job,” he said “there’s massive evidence that suggests that it was either allowed to happen or even worse, deliberately made to happen.”

One need only listen to the tracks Uprising, United States of Eurasia and MK Ultra to see that MUSE are a band who are unafraid to call people out, educate their fans and to break new ground.

Perth fans braced themselves upon arriving at Steel Blue Oval, flocking to the multi level stage to be greeted by three sky-scraping towers. The ‘buildings’ on-stage showed faceless silhouettes walking up stairs in a repeated loop of movement until the buildings burst into bright lights and lasers while Uprising kicked in over  screams from the crowd.

Each band member stood atop their own podium, complete with giant screens, giving everyone at the venue a great view as they played. Along with flashing the words to choruses, the screens provided a fair share of close ups of Matt Bellamy’s silver reflective suit and futuristic, light up, blue sunglasses.

The delighted crowd sung along to favourites like Supermassive Black Hole, Hysteria and Map of the Problematique before attempting the Queen-styled vocals of United States of Eurasia, which the band says was inspired by a book called, The Grand Chessboard and George Orwell’s, 1984. Both books refer to a landmass where the super powers of the world are combined, losing their sovereignty in a bid to control resources.

One of the highlights of the gig was Dominic Howards’ light up drum kit, supplying the perfect focal point among green lasers as the familiar drum machine-like beat of Undisclosed Desires exploded into the air and drew the crowd into a spellbinding rendition of the currently charting hit. With the inclusion of the Keytar halfway through, the song was even more dreamlike, emphasising the perfect mish-mash of orchestral and electronic components.

Matt Bellamy’s absolutely amazing vocal range did not falter during songs that would challenge even the most trained falsetto when performed live. The first song played in the encore was part one of Exogenesis Symphony, and proved his voice is never-ending, creating a magic across the oval that had most of the crowd more sedate than they had been during previous songs. Bassist, Chris Wolstenholme’s backing vocals brought a complimenting harmony to Matt Bellamy’s high register brilliantly, making the performance of the song even more jaw dropping.

Knights of Cydonia, arguably one of Muse’s finest pieces of work, was last on the menu, serving up a wicked beat, brilliant guitar riffs and the powerful, system-aware lyrics Muse are famous for.

“No one’s going to take me alive, the time has come to make things right. You and I must fight for our rights, you and I must fight to survive” scrolled across the podiums in bright lights while the stage darkened and eighteen thousand fans sang along.

Leaving the venue, the sea of tired, sweaty but elated fans were greeted by local activist group, We Are Change WA, who handed out flyers in relation to some of the things MUSE display concern for in their music. Like-minded fans snatched these up, proving that the band’s influence regarding important political matters and current affairs does reach our isolated city. MUSE’s music has the power to promote thought and action as well as ensure gigs that go off and Perth fan’s sure got an experience that will no doubt be hard to forget.

Calgary Vote Puts Perth’s Water Fluoridation Back Into The Spotlight
Perth’s sister resources city, Calgary in Canada, last night voted to end the undemocratic practice of water fluoridation due to increasing concerns over its health effects. This follows recent announcement by US health authorities reducing US flouridation levels to 30% less than Perth’s.

Perth, WA – 9 February 2011 –

The continued mass fluoridation of Perth’s drinking water was thrust back into the spotlight today following the overwhelming decision by politicians in fellow resources focussed city, Calgary, Canada to end the practice of water fluoridation in the city.
Perth’s drinking water has been fluoridated at a level of 0.9 to 1.0 mg/l since the mid-1960’s in the belief that fluoride say it prevents tooth decay, and has no adverse medical side effects. However a large amount of recent peer reviewed scientific research has linked fluoride to numerous health risks such as lowering fertility rates, lower IQ’s in children, thyroid problems and osteoporosis.
In addition to the Calgary decision, the US Department of Health last month issued a national directive for US fluoridation levels to be reduced to 0.7mg/l, around 30% lower than Perth’s current levels. This was due to a very significant recent rise in dental fluorosis in teenagers, a discolouring of the teeth caused by overdosing of fluoride.
Commenting on the Calgary decision, James Fairbairn, founder of Perth Fluoride Free, said “Yet again this highlights the negligent and undemocratic attitude towards the health of the people of WA by our medical and political establishment. Calgary’s leaders have recognised the significant adverse effects of fluoride on their population and have taken decisive action.”
He continued, “Such action is desperately needed here in Perth where such a large proportion of our population consume far more than the arbitrary recommended intake of 2 litres a day, as they work in high temperature environments such as mine or construction sites, and in doing so are significantly overdosing on any recommended levels of fluoride ingestion. Calgary’s politicians should be commended on their actions, which itself will save their taxpayers many millions of dollars a year, money which can be reinvested into more targeted dental hygiene schemes such as free tooth paste for children.
The timing of the Calgary vote coincides with a free presentation being given on the subject of Perth’s water fluoridation this Saturday morning at the WA State Library by one of the most foremost authorities on the subject, Professor Paul Connett of St Lawrence University, New York.
